Unwind and enjoy the beautiful Barnsdall Art Park as the sun is setting, from the gated gardens in the West Lawn of the historic Hollyhock House.  Silverlake Wine will present four selections of boutique, small production, artisanal wines from around the globe.  As featured in LA Weekly, LA Times, Urban Daddy, and FoodGPS:

Thank you for all the incredible support we've received this summer for our Barnsdall Fridays wine tasting.  Due to the overwhelming popularity of the event we have been pushing our maximum capacity for the West Lawn over the past few weeks.  We want to ensure the wine tastings remain an amazing experience for everyone. As a result, we are changing our ticketing process slightly:

• Early Bird Advance Tickets will be $15 until midnight on Thursday before the wine tasting.

• Advance Tickets will be $20 from midnight on Thursday until 1 hour prior to the event. All sales will be closed one hour prior to the event. 

• There will no longer be tickets for sale at the door.  We apologize for the inconvenience, but it reflects the fact that our advance sales for the past few weeks have brought us to capacity.

• Children under 21 and pregnant women will still be allowed at no charge. However, for those adults who want to come but will not be participating in the wine tasting, we will request a $5 donation at the door. 

All profits from the wine tastings benefit Barnsdall Art Park Foundation programs and projects, such as Free Sunday Art Classes for children and families in the community, as well as capital projects like the Monument Sign. 

Guided Tours [GUIDED TOURS ARE SOLD OUT FOR THIS WEEK]: We also offer GUIDED TOURS of the inside of Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece, the Hollyhock House, led by house docents.  Tickets that include a tour can be purchased in advance for $30 (the additional $15 fee for the house tours will go directly to the restoration needs of the Hollyhock House.)  Tours start at 5:45pm, 6:15pm, and 7:00pm.  Space per tour slot is limited; if they do not appear above, they are SOLD OUT. Please purchase your tickets earlier in the week to guarantee a slot.

Food:  Bring a picnic! You are welcome to bring your own food, soft drinks, and a blanket; however, NO outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted.

Also, the Coolhaus truck will be selling unique and delicious ice cream sandwiches, including a special Barnsdall flavor, Honeyhock Ice Cream. And the famous Let's Be Frank hot dog truck will also be there, selling their 100% grass-fed beef hot dogs and family-farmed pork sausages.

Parking: Free parking is available at the top and bottom of Barnsdall Art Park.  Handicap parking is available at the top.  Additional parking is also available at the Kaiser lot, which you can enter on Sunset Blvd. just east of Vermont.

Policies: No refunds. In the event of weather or event cancellation, a rain check will be provided for the next Barnsdall Friday.

Children under 21 will be allowed in the event free of charge, but will not be permitted to consume alcohol. Valid Photo ID is required to partake in the tasting.

Dogs and animals are permitted on leash in the general park areas right outside the West Lawn, but are not permitted inside the gated West Lawn area.
